We are seeking a highly qualified Lead Accounting Faculty Member to join our team at Maine's Public Universities. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to teach and mentor students in the field of accounting.

As a Lead Accounting Faculty Member, you will be responsible for teaching a range of accounting courses, including Survey of Accounting, Intermediate Accounting, Accounting Information Systems, Fraud and Forensic Accounting, Taxation, Government and Nonprofit Accounting, as well as Auditing. You will also have the opportunity to develop and deliver courses online in Brightspace and create assessments of learning.

The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to teaching in multiple modalities and working with students one-on-one. They will also have experience with data analytics and distance education modalities such as Brightspace, Textbook Management System, and Zoom.

A salary of $75,000 - $90,000 per year is estimated based on qualifications and previous experience. The normal hiring range is commensurate with qualifications and previous experience, in accordance with the AFUM contract.

To be considered for this role, you must have a minimum of 2 academic years experience teaching accounting at the college level, a Professional Certification (CPA or CMA), and an MBA or MS in Accounting. A Doctoral Degree (DBA or PhD in Accounting or a related field) is preferred, but not required.
