**Job Description**

This is a Full-Time opportunity as a Patient Care Technician (PCT). As a PCT, you will work under the supervision of a nurse to take instructions from them and attend to patients based on prescription. You will assist patients with basic living activities, guide them in social activities to improve their mental health, and maintain treatment plans to ensure ongoing therapeutic treatment is administered diligently and at the appropriate time.

**Essential Job Functions**

* Monitor patients closely to identify new developments and inform professional medical staff in charge of patients.

* Keep accurate records of patient information, including eating habits, actions, and moods.

* Assist in restraining patients who are acting out of control using caution and tactics to calm them down.

* Provide personal care to patients, including bathing, brushing, grooming, and dressing.

* Serve meals to patients and administer medication under close supervision to ensure proper intake.

* Engage patients in recreational activities and help them get used to their treatment routine to prevent resistance in receiving medication.

* Collect patient specimens for laboratory testing and diagnoses.

* Carry patients around for treatment and inspect treatment tools and facilities to ensure they are in good condition.

**Requirements**

* Must have an active license to practice as a healthcare professional.

* Must have and maintain current CPR certification.

* Must be immunized against defined illnesses and diseases.

**Physical Requirements**

* Ability to walk or run for long periods of time.

* Ability to stand for long periods of time.

* Ability to bend or twist body.

* Ability to repeat same movements.

* Use hands/fingers to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls.

The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $55,000 per year.
