About the Role

This position involves directing traffic, providing control at crosswalks, city streets, and parking garages. The individual in this role will issue warnings, notices, and parking citations on behalf of the Cleveland Clinic and respective municipalities.

Job Responsibilities
  • Direct traffic and provide control at crosswalks to prevent congestion and ensure safe movement.
  • Manage traffic for Cleveland Clinic special events and incidents requiring traffic management.
  • Assist police officers with traffic control at Cleveland Clinic parking garages and surface lots.
  • Create and issue warnings, notices, or parking citations according to guidelines.
Working Conditions

The caregiver in this position works from 11:30 AM to 8:00 PM. A successful candidate will:

  • Use critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Requirements
  • A valid driver's license (VDL) and eligibility for insurance as determined by the Cleveland Clinic Hospital insurance carrier.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must complete all Traffic Control training and follow guidelines mandated by the Cleveland Clinic and respective municipalities.
Physical Demands

This role requires full body mobility, agility, physical strength, and stamina sufficient to assist police officers with medical emergencies and subdue criminal suspects as needed.

Salary and Benefits
