SalaryThe estimated salary for this position ranges from $135,000 to $202,600 per year, based on experience and qualifications. About the JobWe are currently seeking an Electronics Engineer to join our B-2 CSAG team in Oklahoma City. As a key member of our Lifecycle Sustainment and Modernization Solutions (LSMS) team, you will be responsible for providing leadership and mentoring in addition to being an individual performer. Your primary duties will include analyzing complex electronic circuitry and precision electro-mechanical assemblies through simulation or analysis, identifying and solving obsolescence issues, and establishing design concepts and criteria for product research, development, integration, and test.
You will also be responsible for performing functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation, and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications. Additionally, you will generate reports and present to Government counterparts, defense contractors, and other cross-functional organizations.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you must have a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related discipline with a minimum of 12 years of engineering experience, or a master's degree in electrical engineering or a related discipline with a minimum of 10 years of engineering experience, or a PhD degree in electrical engineering or a related discipline with a minimum of 8 years of engineering experience. You must also be able to obtain/maintain access to work on-site in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and diagnose/troubleshoot/repair hardware components. Experience with CAD or similar design tools, aerospace systems, Air Force customers, and aerospace industry and military standards is highly desirable.
Active DoD Secret Security Clearance (or higher) is preferred, as well as experience with test planning at the circuit card, equipment, and system level, nuclear hardened systems, information security, COMSEC, and TEMPEST, DOORS, and general requirements management best practices, embedded software development and/or cybersecurity, RF systems, and ability to diagnose/troubleshoot/repair hardware components.
