St. Andrew Catholic School in Saline, Michigan is a PreK through seventh grade school with a strong commitment to faith formation and academic excellence. We are seeking a dedicated music educator to join our team.

About the Position

We are looking for a qualified Vocal Music Teacher to lead students to wholeness in the image of Jesus Christ. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Developing engaging music lesson plans that align with state and diocesan curriculum objectives.
  • Leading student performances at Christmas and Spring concerts.
  • Demonstrating expertise in teaching music to students of all ages.
  • Communicating effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Fostering a culture of faith, friendship, and academic excellence.
Required Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
  • Agreement with and support of the Catholic worldview.
  • A strong commitment to Catholic education.
  • Participation in the VIRTUS child protection program.
Desirable Qualifications

Prior teaching experience and certification would be an asset. Additionally, knowledge of or willingness to learn Spirit of Truth by Sophia Institute and the Disciple of Christ-Education in Virtue curriculum is desirable.
