Job Title: Executive Chef - Culinary Operations Specialist

At Friendship Village, we are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to lead our culinary operations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing food preparation and presentation, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

The Responsibilities:

  • Plan, coordinate, and implement menus and recipes for all meal services.
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Manage inventory, ordering supplies, and controlling costs.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a cook or chef in a hotel, restaurant, or similar institution.
  • Able to read, write, and speak English fluently.
  • Knowledge of basic cooking methods, nutrition, and dietetics.
  • Ability to interpret instructions, recipes, and specifications.
  • Leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and train team members.
