Collaborative Support Programs of NJ Inc. is seeking a dedicated Wellness Respite Associate to provide supportive services for guests in a meaningful and successful stay. The ideal candidate will work under the direction of the Program Manager to provide crisis coping skills and support guests in realizing their full potential.
The Wellness Respite Associate will work with guests to develop a Wellness Plan and link them to services and resources within their community. This program provides an alternative to hospitalization for individuals in crisis.
The successful candidate will have a strong assessment skills and the ability to manage crises. They will also have solid organization, time management, and multitask skills. A Bachelor's degree in a mental health/human service discipline or a High School Diploma or GED plus 4 years of related work/life experience is required.
The Wellness Respite Associate will be responsible for following team protocol for charting and recording current treatment information for guests. They will also maintain accurate records related to the service plan and support services provided.
The ideal candidate will have the ability to work with individuals with mental illness in a caring and professional manner. They will also be proficient in MS Office products and have a valid NJ driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
CSPNJ prioritizes hiring people who use their own life experience dealing with mental health/substance use issues to inspire and support others.
