About the Role

At Temple University Health System, we are seeking a dedicated Mental Health Technician to join our team.

Job Summary

This is an entry-level position responsible for supporting the delivery of high-quality patient care under the supervision of Registered Nurses. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conducting patient assessments, providing direct patient care, and maintaining accurate documentation
  • Assessing unit safety and implementing measures to prevent harm
  • Liaising with multidisciplinary teams to facilitate therapeutic activities
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Human Services or a related field (e.g., Psychology, Sociology, Education)
  • 1 year of experience in direct patient care, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
Salary Information

The estimated annual salary for this role is $45,000 - $55,000, depending on experience.
