About the Role

This is a nursing job opportunity that requires 1+ years of RN experience. As an Orthopedic Nurse Specialist, you will be working in a fast-paced 35 bed Surgical unit caring mostly for post-op orthopedics patients. You will have the opportunity to build strong clinical skills while caring for an increasingly diverse patient population.

Responsibilities
  • Care for patients with various types of orthopedic conditions and perform routine medical procedures.
  • Develop and implement individualized plans of care for patients based on their specific needs.
  • Partner with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery and make decisions through shared governance councils.
  • Prioritize tasks effectively to manage a high volume of patients and maintain a safe environment.
Requirements
  • Education: Nursing Degree (BSN preferred)
  • Experience: 1+ years of RN experience
  • Licenses/Certifications: Current RN licensure from the State of Practice and Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Heart Association or American Red Cross
