We are seeking an experienced Drywall Project Manager to join our team in Washington DC.

About the Job

This is a challenging role that requires strong leadership and organizational skills. As a Drywall Project Manager, you will be responsible for developing estimates for commercial projects, managing subcontractors, and preparing material and cost estimates. You will also be tasked with resolving issues that may arise during the project.

To succeed in this role, you must have a strong understanding of construction operations and processes. You should be able to delegate duties effectively and lead teams to achieve project goals.

Requirements
  • High School diploma or associated degree with experience
  • 8+ years of drywall estimating experience
  • Experience with On-screen Takeoff / Quick Bid or similar estimating software
  • Familiarity with formal procurement and submittal processes such as RFQ, RFI, RFP
Job Responsibilities
  • Develop detailed cost analysis based on bid data
  • Prepare material estimates and cost estimates for services and products
  • Support process improvement programs to enhance estimate accuracy and efficiency
  • Present estimates to management for review and approval
