Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to set up and operate various types of respiratory equipment and deliver prescribed therapy as ordered by physicians. The ideal candidate will promote high-quality respiratory care within the department and ensure continuity of care administered by the team. Additionally, responsibilities may include performing Pulmonary Function Tests (PFTs), Electroencephalography (EEGs), or Electrocardiographs (ECGs).

Responsibilities:
  • Set up and operate various types of respiratory equipment
  • Deliver physician-prescribed therapy
  • Promote and ensure continuity in the quality of respiratory care administered by the Respiratory Care department
  • Perform other procedures or tests as required, such as PFTs, EEGs, or ECGs
Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must possess 1-2 years of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT). A Registered Respiratory Therapist credential with the National Board of Respiratory Care and a current license with the State of Montana as a Respiratory Care Practitioner are also mandatory. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Supports (PALS) certifications are preferred, along with Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification. Maintaining current CPR certification is essential.
