Job Description

As a Lead Children's Cooking Instructor, you will be responsible for planning and leading cooking classes for children aged 5-12. You will work closely with our camp leadership team to develop engaging lesson plans that promote hands-on learning and exploration. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and delivering high-quality cooking classes that meet the needs and interests of our participants
  • Leading small groups of children in a safe and supportive environment
  • Preparing and managing cooking supplies and equipment
  • Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen space
  • Collaborating with other instructors and staff members to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all participants

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience teaching children's cooking classes or working in a related field
  • A degree in culinary arts, education, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A passion for cooking and sharing your knowledge with others
  • The ability to work well under pressure and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment
