Job Title: Cheese Specialist

Job Summary:

This is an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Cheese Specialist. As a Cheese Specialist at Albertsons Companies, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while promoting our cheese products and services. You will work closely with customers to understand their needs and preferences, offering personalized recommendations to enhance their shopping experience. Your passion for cheese, wine, and food will shine through as you create engaging merchandising displays and educate customers on the latest trends.

To succeed in this role, you must be friendly, enthusiastic, and have a natural ability to sell. You should also be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines and maintaining high levels of productivity. We are looking for someone who is thoughtful, passionate about their work, and has a knack for working with the public.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist customers in selecting the perfect cheese and accompaniments for their needs

• Create visually appealing merchandising displays that showcase our cheese products and services

• Educate customers on the benefits and features of our cheese offerings, including wine and food pairings

• Develop strong relationships with customers to understand their preferences and provide personalized recommendations

• Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales goals and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction

• Maintain knowledge of new and trending products, services, and promotions to stay ahead of customer needs

Requirements:

• 1 or more years of experience working with cheese in a retail or grocery store environment

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues

• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time, with frequent bending and reaching

• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
