Clinical Training Director for a Multispecialty Group

We are seeking a highly motivated Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Adena Health System in Chillicothe, OH. This is a full-time employed position within our multispecialty group, offering a competitive compensation package and generous benefits.
About the RoleThis part-time Psychology Clinical Training Director will work closely with our team of 20 physicians and 6 counselors/psychologists to develop and guide our clinical program. The selected candidate will join us in creating a sound training environment that fosters growth and excellence in clinical psychology.
Responsibilities- Schedule Management: Coordinate annual didactic schedules, presenters, and room reservations (physical or WebEx) to ensure seamless training experiences.
- Hiring Procedures: Assist in job postings, establishing hiring committees, creating applicant rating systems, interview day agendas, and coordinating interview days for internship and postdoctoral positions.
- Supervisor Selection: Coordinate the annual selection and assignment of supervisors to trainees (2:1 ratio).
- Site and Training Roles: Establish and coordinate site and training roles for trainees/interns, including caseload ramp-up schedules.
- Room Assignments and Scheduling: Work with Practice Managers to assign rooms, work schedules, credentialing, and legal requirements prior to trainees' start dates.
- Ongoing Review: Analyze and improve the overall health, success, and sustainability of our GME Psychology Training Department.
- Liaison and Coordination: Facilitate exit interviews for trainees/interns, maintain good standing with APPIC Accredited Sites, and achieve APA Accreditation.
- Supervision Provision: Provide weekly one-on-one check-ins and direct supervision of active counseling, as well as group supervision for doctoral interns.
To be successful in this role, you must possess:
- A Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology or Counseling Psychology from an APA-accredited university.
- Current Psychologist License in Ohio or eligibility.
- Minimum two years of post-licensure clinical experience.
- Familiarity with Google, Microsoft Office, and WebEx products.
The estimated annual salary for this role is $120,000 - $150,000, based on national averages and industry standards. Benefits include a sign-on bonus, relocation benefit, CME allowance, and Public Student Loan Forgiveness qualification.
