Craftsman Specialist

At Burgess Norton Mfg Co, we are seeking an exceptional Craftsman Specialist to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining part inventory, assisting in maintaining tooling equipment, and manufacturing and repairing fixtures and specialized tools as requested.

Key Responsibilities:

• Reviewing tooling requests with Senior Toolmaker or Plant Manager and submitting recommendations on repair procedures.
• Maintaining part inventory for common replacement items such as dies, inserts, sleeves, etc.
• Maintaining conditions and housekeeping of the tooling equipment and area.
• Manufacturing and repairing fixtures and specialized tools as requested and approved by Engineering Manager.
• Providing tooling assistance to Maintenance Department as approved by the Engineering Manager and/or Plant Manager.
• Responsible for maintaining daily log book and maintenance request forms.
• Responsible for setting up and operating machinery equipment such as lathe, mill, surface grinder, etc.
