Job Title: CNC Machinist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team at Elite Business Resources, LLC. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for developing programs to control machining or processing of metal parts by automatic machine tools, equipment, or systems.

Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Modify existing programs to enhance deficiencies and optimize machine performance.
  • Enter computer commands to store or retrieve parts patterns, graphic displays, or programs, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Write programs in the language of a machine's controller and store programs on media, adhering to company standards.
  • Compare encoded tapes or computer printouts with original part specifications and blueprints to verify accuracy of instructions.
  • Determine reference points, cutting paths, or hole locations and compute angular and linear dimensions, applying mathematical skills and knowledge.
  • Analyze job orders, drawings, blueprints, specifications, printed circuit board pattern films, and design data to calculate dimensions, tool selection, machine speeds, and feed rates.
  • Revise programs or tapes to eliminate errors and retest programs to check that problems have been solved, ensuring quality and reliability.
  • Enter coordinates of hole locations into program memories by depressing pedals or by buttons of programmers, following established protocols.


Qualifications:


  • Minimum 3-5 years prior experience in a machine shop environment.
  • Able to bend, stoop, kneel, stretch, and lift/carry to 50 lbs., maintaining physical fitness and safety standards.


Educational Requirements:


  • High school diploma or equivalent, demonstrating basic education and skills.
