Responsibilities
The Registered Nurse is directly responsible and accountable for the care given to their assigned patients. They communicate with physicians about changes in the patients' clinical condition, including cardiac monitoring, results of diagnostic studies, and symptomatology. The nurse must be able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or response to treatment.
Qualifications
To be eligible for this position, you must have a current and valid license as a Registered Nurse issued by the state. BCLS certification is required upon hire and must be maintained current. Previous acute care hospital experience is preferred, and ACLS certification is required within 30 days of hire and must be maintained current.
