About the Role:

Parsons is seeking a Senior Document Control Specialist to support our portfolio of projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in document control and a strong background in supporting large-scale, complex construction projects and/or engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply electronic document archiving procedures to support capital and non-capital rail-transit projects
  • Maintain project files, follow file naming conventions, and assist staff in retrieving documents from electronic archives
  • Perform quality control checks on digital files to ensure completeness, legibility, orientation, and consistency
  • Scan hard copy historical documents into digital formats and store them according to client-provided directory structures
  • Lead record-keeping efforts for as-built drawings, design drawings, standard drawings, as-is drawings, and contract close-out documents
  • C coordinate with project teams, contractors, consultants, and IT departments to support project close-out processes and document onboarding

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 12+ years of related work experience with at least 8+ years in document controls
  • Experience working with documents, both hard copy and digital, and file management systems
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to communicate effectively
  • Experience working with secure contract documents, reports, and plans for infrastructure projects is preferred
  • SharePoint experience is also preferred

Salary Range: $83,300 - $145,800 per year, depending on qualifications and location
