About the Role
">At ARCH Healthcare, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our team. This is an exceptional opportunity for a dedicated and compassionate professional to provide high-quality anesthesia care services in a variety of settings.
">Responsibilities
">- ">
- Perform preanesthesia assessments and evaluations of patients, documenting all relevant information.">
- Obtain informed consent from patients for anesthesia services and related procedures.">
- Review, request, and order laboratory/diagnostic studies as necessary.">
- Select, obtain, order, and administer preanesthetic medication or treatment.">
- Develop and implement comprehensive anesthesia care plans, providing post-anesthesia follow-up and care.">
- Select, obtain, prepare, and use equipment, invasive and non-invasive monitors, supplies, and medications for sedation, anesthesia, and pain management services.">
- Select, order, obtain, and administer analgesic and anesthetic agents, adjuvant drugs, accessory drugs, fluids, or blood products necessary to provide anesthesia services.">
- Perform all aspects of airway management, including fiberoptic intubation.">
- Initiate and administer post-anesthesia pharmacological or fluid support of the cardiovascular system and respiratory support to ensure adequate ventilation and oxygenation in the postoperative period.">
- Evaluate patient responses to anesthesia and surgery, taking corrective action during the post-anesthesia period.">
- Discharge patients from the post-anesthesia care unit.">
Requirements
">We require a graduate of a nurse anesthesia educational program accredited by the AANA Council, certification by the National Board of Certification and Recertification of Nurse Anesthetists, and licensure as a Registered Nurse to practice professional nursing in the state of employment.
">A license as an APN with the Tennessee Board of Nursing and current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS are also preferred.
