Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Wexford Health Sources, Inc. in Roswell Correctional Center.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. This includes directing and guiding patient teaching activities, utilizing electronic medical records, and providing leadership to nursing staff.

• Assess physical, psychological, and psychosocial dimensions of patients and develop individualized care plans.
• Provide leadership to RNs, LPNs, MAs, CNAs, and other nursing paraprofessionals in patient care.
• Review and monitor offenders receiving medications, maintain charts and records, and utilize therapeutic communication skills.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure seamless patient care.

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess a current, valid New Mexico Registered Nursing License, current CPR Certification, and a Graduate degree from an accredited school of nursing. Preferred experience includes a minimum of one year of clinical experience, with correctional nursing experience being a plus.
