Medical Office Coordinator

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Medical Office Receptionist to join our team at Allergy & Asthma Affiliates. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greets and engages with patients and their families, providing a warm and welcoming experience.
- Collaborates with clinical staff to ensure seamless patient flow and efficient operations.
- Manages patient check-in and check-out processes, including appointment scheduling and reminders.
- Responds to phone inquiries and performs insurance eligibility and benefits verification.
- Maintains accurate and up-to-date demographic and clinical data, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulations.
Requirements:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on customer service.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance verification processes, with a willingness to learn and adapt.
- Strong computer and typing skills, with experience using electronic medical records preferred.
