Medicare Sales Representative

About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Medicare Sales Field Agent. In this role, you will be responsible for selling individual health plan products and educating beneficiaries on our services in a field setting.
You will interact with Humana's customers, external business partners, and the community we serve through face-to-face, virtual, and telephonic interactions. This may include grass roots marketing and field sales community events, as well as visiting prospects in their homes.
Key Responsibilities- BUILD COMMUNITY RELATIONSHIPS: Foster strong relationships with the community, including prospective members, external business partners, and other stakeholders.
- DRIVE SELF-GENERATED SALES: Identify and pursue new sales opportunities, leveraging your expertise and industry knowledge to drive revenue growth.
- METRICS AND GOALS: Meet or exceed established sales metrics and goals, working closely with your team to achieve shared objectives.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A HEALTH INSURANCE LICENSE OR ABILITY TO OBTAIN ONE PRIOR TO START DATE.
- EXPERIENCE WITH TECHNOLOGY, INCLUDING HIGH-LEVEL USE OF LAPTOPS AND MOBILE PHONE APPLICATIONS, WITH AN UNDERSTANDING OF CRM TOOLS OR OTHER SALES/MARKETING RESOURCES.
- EXPERIENCE WITH MICROSOFT OFFICE PRODUCTS, SUCH AS EXCEL AND OUTLOOK.
- A CLEAR AND VALID STATE DRIVER'S LICENSE AND PROOF OF PERSONAL VEHICLE LIABILITY INSURANCE WITH AT LEAST 100/300/100 LIMITS.
- ACTIVE LIFE AND VARIABLE ANNUITY INSURANCE LICENSE.
- ASSOCIATE'S OR BACHELOR'S DEGREE.
- PRIOR EXPERIENCE IN TEAMS AND POWERPOINT.
- EXPERIENCE ENGAGING WITH THE COMMUNITY THROUGH SERVICE, ORGANIZATIONS, ACTIVITIES, AND VOLUNTEERISM.
As a Medicare Sales Field Agent, you will enjoy a competitive compensation package, including:
- A BASE SALARY WITH A COMMISSION STRUCTURE PLUS A MONTHLY GUARANTEE.
- A TOTAL COMPENSATION PACKAGE COULD EXCEED $115K DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE AND LOCATION.
- PAID TIME OFF (PTO) & PAID HOLIDAYS.
