Physiotherapist - Home Health Care Opportunity

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a skilled Physiotherapist to provide high-quality home health care services in Annapolis, Maryland.
About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced Physiotherapist who can make a real difference in the lives of our clients. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work independently and manage your time effectively, providing individualized care plans that cater to each client's unique needs.
The ideal candidate will have a current Maryland Physical Therapist license and at least one year of recent work experience as a Physiotherapist. Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills are essential for this role.
Responsibilities- Making home visits to clients in designated geographic territories
- Performing diagnostic tests and measurements, such as mobility/range of joints, transfer status, stability, patterns and appearance of ambulation, strength and endurance of muscles, balance testing, and safety assessments
- Implementing integumentary protective interventions to prevent wound formation and promote wound repair utilizing evidence-based dressings and topical agents
- Developing and implementing appropriate individualized care plans, including manual therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance, and other interventions
You will also be responsible for accurately documenting observations, interventions, and evaluations pertaining to client care management and services provided, utilizing a state-of-the-art touch pad tablet.
Qualifications- A current Maryland Physical Therapist license
- A minimum of one year of recent work experience as a Physiotherapist
- Graduation from a program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association or the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association, as indicated by school transcript or diploma
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills
