About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Hospitalist to join our team at Columbus Regional Health in Indiana. As a pediatric hospitalist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the growth and development of our pediatric hospitalist department.
Compensation
The annual salary range for this position is between $230,000 and $270,000, based on an hourly rate of $175/hour for additional shifts worked. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including medical, dental, vision insurance, PTO accrual of 39 days/year, $4,000 annual CME, and student loan repayment programs through the Public Service Loan Forgiveness program and HRSA.
Job Description
As a pediatric hospitalist, you will be responsible for rounding on pediatric inpatients, Level 2 nursery, and newborns. You will work collaboratively with our established staff of pediatric hospitalists and a nurse practitioner to provide comprehensive care to our patients. The flexible schedule includes a 7on/7off model, which can be adjusted based on scheduling needs.
Responsibilities
- Rounding on pediatric inpatients, Level 2 nursery, and newborns
- Providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the growth and development of our pediatric hospitalist department
- Working collaboratively with our established staff of pediatric hospitalists and a nurse practitioner
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives and staying up-to-date with the latest clinical developments
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field
- Recent experience or training in neonatal resuscitation, intubation, lumbar puncture, circumcision, emergency needle thoracentesis, umbilical lines, CPAP, and tube feedings
- NRP and PALS certification
- Accepting new grads/H1-B visas
