Job Title: Private Duty NurseAbout the Role:

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking dedicated and compassionate Private Duty Nurses to provide high-quality care to our patients in the comfort of their own homes. As a Private Duty Nurse, you will work one-on-one with our patients, providing personalized care and support to help them achieve their health and wellness goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implementing physicians' prescribed plans of care to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Conducting patient assessments and coordinating care with other healthcare professionals
  • Administering prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies as ordered by physicians
  • Documenting care provided in a timely and compliant manner
  • Providing health education and training to patients and their families
Requirements:
  • Active, unencumbered RN/LPN/LVN license in the state of practice
  • Current CPR certification from American Red Cross, American Heart Association, or BLS
  • TB skin test (current within last 12 months)
  • At least six months of prior hands-on nursing experience (preferably in home healthcare)
