Job Summary:

PennState Health is seeking a skilled Monitor Technician to join our team in New Cumberland, Pennsylvania. As a Monitor Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health and well-being of our patients by continuously observing their heartbeat patterns, noting irregularities, and reporting concerns to the RN in charge.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor patients' heartbeat patterns and report any irregularities to the RN in charge.
  • Ensure that heart monitors are functioning correctly and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide individualized care to patients.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest cardiac care techniques and technologies.

Requirements:

  • High School degree or equivalent.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
