Housekeeping Ambassador

We are seeking a Housekeeping Ambassador to join our team at Fairfield Inn & Suites- Savannah Midtown. As a Housekeeping Ambassador, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and comfort of our hotel guests, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining the highest standards of housekeeping.

Job Summary

The Housekeeping Ambassador will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining the hotel's public areas, including hallways, meeting rooms, and lobbies. They will also be responsible for delivering guest-requested items, such as amenities, rollaway beds, cribs, and bedding, and performing any specially assigned tasks by housekeeping managers.

Responsibilities

• Walk all assigned floors at the beginning of the shift to collect trash, soiled linen, and other items as requested by management.

• Maintain the cleanliness of guest rooms and hallways, as well as the lobby and other workspaces.

• Transport clean linen to housekeeping storage rooms and replenish linen supplies on each floor.

• Provide the highest level of service by anticipating, listening attentively, and responding promptly to guests' needs.

• Make deliveries to guest rooms for guest-requested items such as amenities, rollaway beds, cribs, bedding, and linens.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques and products.

• Solid work ethic and excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.

• 1 year experience as a houseperson or housekeeper strongly desired.

Salary Estimate

We estimate the salary for this position to be around $40,000 - $50,000 per year, depending on experience. This is a full-time position with benefits and opportunities for advancement.
