About the Role:

As a Business Operations Analyst at Umpqua Bank, you will play a critical role in spearheading the optimization of workflow and processes for bank business units. Your expertise in business operations, analytical and problem-solving skills, and superior data analysis skills will be essential in identifying and documenting business unit requirements, investigating business unit systems, and recommending solutions that enable the organization to achieve its goals.

Key responsibilities include collaborating with stakeholders and subject matter experts to document, communicate, validate, and refine necessary requirements, as well as leading business base development and RFP process during the project initiate phase. You will also lead integration and user acceptance testing of new or revised workflows, processes, and/or systems, and develop training and implementation materials.

As a liaison between business units and the Technology Advancement Group, you will ensure that requirements flow smoothly and that the organization is equipped to meet its objectives. Additionally, you will maintain a working knowledge of Bank's written policies and procedures regarding Bank Secrecy Act, Regulation CC, Regulation E, Bank Security, and other regulations applicable to this job description.

Requirements for this role include a Bachelor's degree in business, project management, business systems, or equivalent, and 8+ years of relevant business analyst and/or project management and/or operations experience. ServiceNow and financial operations services (FSO) are preferred. Expertise in business operations, analytical and problem-solving skills, and superior data analysis skills are essential. Superior knowledge of banking policies, procedures, practices, and documentation, as well as exceptional project management skills, are also required. Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills are necessary, as well as the ability to manage complex projects and vendor relationships. Finally, proficiency with personal computers and related software packages, such as Microsoft Office, is required.
