Job Description

As an Oncology Infusion Therapy Specialist at Della Infotech, Inc., you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in our outpatient infusion center. Your expertise in oncology nursing will help us deliver effective treatment plans and ensure the well-being of our patients.

Treatment Services
  • Intravenous (IV) antibiotics
  • IV antifungal
  • IV steroids for inflammatory conditions (Solumedrol)
  • Blood and blood product transfusions
  • Maintenance of Central Venous access devices
  • Placement of Peripherally Inserted Central Venous Catheters (PICC lines)
  • IV Immune Globulin therapy (IVIG)
  • Hydration therapy
  • IV/IM vitamins
  • Care and maintenance of intrathecal or implanted infusion pumps
  • Iron infusions (Venofer and Injectafer)
  • Teaching for self-administration of medications (Humira, Lovenox, treatment for Hepatitis C)
  • Therapeutic Phlebotomies
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 2+ years Current experience in outpatient oncology and infusion
  • Chemo Cert and Oncology Certified RN - REQUIRED
  • Peripheral IV Insertion experience Required
  • Port/Fistula/Catheter experience Required
  • IV Certification Required
  • Previous traveler preferred
  • BSN preferred
  • Cerner Experience - Required
Benefits
  • Holiday pay: 1.25%
  • Non-billable orientation: 8hrs
