The Opportunity

As a dedicated Actuarial Analyst I on the Auto Core Pricing Modernization team, you'll apply complex technical and actuarial methodologies to complete unstructured projects. You'll work with data analysis tools, data visualization, developing queries in Python, R, SQL, SAS, BI tools or other software. Your expertise will help identify compliance gaps and process improvements.

Responsibilities:

  • Apply understanding of products supported, stakeholders' needs, and industry trends to solve unstructured business problems.
  • Create and deliver training to teammates on mechanics of actuarial tools and processes.
  • Effectively communicate insights and solutions to all audiences, including executive leadership.
  • Synthesize complex information into a clear value proposition.
  • Ensure risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled.

What You Need:

  • Bachelor's degree; OR 4 years of related Actuarial/business/analytical experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
  • 4 years of Actuarial or analytical business experience.
  • No more than 2 Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS) exams away from Associate of the Casualty Actuarial Society (ACAS) Credential.
  • Demonstrated competency with relevant actuarial, mathematical, and statistical techniques.
  • Intermediate knowledge of data analysis tools, data visualization, and developing queries.

Salary Range: $99,160 - $189,530 per year, based on location and experience.
