Job Summary

Sunflower Bank is seeking a highly motivated Operations Reporting Analyst to oversee and review the SBA portfolio, including reporting, audit of existing files, and communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage macro-level SBA Department Projects, including SBA 1502 reporting and transition to automation, building reporting tools for analyzing and managing the existing SBA portfolio, and assisting in internal audit of loan files.
  • Provide technical guidance and implement processes for continuous improvement relating to the SBA portfolio.
  • Back up and support the loan operations teams, notify management of potential risks identified during audit/review/reporting of loans, and maintain working knowledge of SmartBiz program.
  • Perform the job in accordance with applicable industry laws and regulations as well as the policies and procedures established by the company.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 5-10 years of working directly with SBA loan programs.
  • In-depth knowledge of SBA lending practices and requirements as well as the SBA SOP Origination, Servicing, and Liquidation manuals.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills, ability to achieve high production and quality standards, and excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and all other Microsoft applications, and ability to learn new systems and understand additional bank system functionality.
