Tax Consultant

Job Summary:
As a Tax Associate with Intuit, you will provide tax advice and preparation services to clients using our TurboTax products. This role is ideal for those who enjoy working independently and providing excellent customer service skills.

In this virtual position, you will work 100% remotely, collaborating with an exceptional team to deliver top-notch tax solutions. Your expertise in commercial tax preparation software and ability to navigate taxation complexities will be valuable assets to our customers.

Responsibilities:
• Provide tax advice and full-service return preparation using Intuit TurboTax products
• Utilize government websites, professional resources, and team expertise to deliver accurate answers to customers
• Document interactions to maintain accurate records
• Work collaboratively with the team to ensure seamless delivery of tax services

Requirements:
• 2+ years of paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns
• Active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN)
• Ability to obtain any related State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds
• Dedicated hardwired internet connection that meets Intuit Security criteria
• Willingness and availability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week

Estimated Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year, based on location and experience.
