Overview

Nokia, a global leader in mobile, fixed, and cloud networks, seeks an experienced Senior Business Development Manager to drive sales and business growth within the MSO Cable Service Provider segment.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of telecom sales experience, with a proven track record of success in deal creation and proactive 'hunting' inside existing MSO Cable Service Providers. They will be responsible for developing strategic business opportunities, building trust with customers and partners, and driving revenue growth through innovative sales approaches.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute business plans to achieve sales targets and revenue goals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, leveraging Nokia's portfolio and competitive landscape to drive growth.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement pricing strategies, negotiate contracts, and drive sales and marketing campaigns.

Requirements

  • At least 8 years of telecom sales experience, with a proven track record of success in deal creation and proactive 'hunting' inside existing MSO Cable Service Providers.
  • Excellent external and internal communication skills, with the ability to work in a matrix across multiple organizations.
  • Innovative, highly motivated, and flexible sales mindset, paired with solution selling skills and the ability to generate revenue by developing new profitable business opportunities.
