About the Role

Gulf Distributing Holdings, LLC is a leading company in the industry.

We are seeking an experienced Reconciliation Clerk to join our team in Huntsville, AL. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.

Job Responsibilities
  • Verify Drivers' Invoices: Ensure that customers receive the products they ordered and that money received matches invoices.
  • Maintain Company Policies: Verify that drivers follow company policies and procedures for reconciliation.
  • Load Sheet Verification: Verify load sheets are checked-in by the warehouse and make adjustments as needed.
  • Check Deposits: Deposit all checks received and verify with cashier sheet.
  • DSD Quantity Verification: Verify quantity matches invoices for certain accounts.
  • Price Discrepancies: List and submit price discrepancies for Wal-Mart and Winn Dixie or any other price discrepancies that may arise.
  • Reconcile House Route: Reconcile house route daily.
  • Scan Accounts Receivables Checks: Scan accounts receivables checks daily to be submitted to the bank for deposit and verify balance sent to the bank balances with tape total submitted by accounts receivables.
  • Assist with Other Requests: Assist with other accounts receivables requests as needed.
  • End of Day Report: Close out End of Day Report by doing Register (directly reporting to managers vital information) (Recon sheet with figures that have been deposited, price discrepancies, voids, driver check in times and the drivers error sheets).
  • Compile Military Invoices: Assist with compiling military invoices weekly to be submitted to the Controller on a monthly basis.
Requirements
  • Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail required.
  • Communication Skills: Good communication skills essential.
  • Prior Experience: Prior experience in accounts payable, inventory, or cashier helpful.
  • Customer Orientation: Customer-oriented approach necessary.
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a competitive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.

This is a full-time position, requiring a minimum of 40 hours per week. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn.
