About the RoleThe Supervisor of Behavioral Health Case Workers plays a crucial role in ensuring that care management services meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. Under the guidance of the Manager, Integrated Care Management, you will oversee the daily operations of the Behavioral Health Case Workers, providing clinical direction, organizational leadership, and rigorous monitoring of all care management delegation activities.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor productivity and documentation, mentoring staff, and ensuring they are aligned with the organization's goals and the stringent standards required by state regulations.
- Assist in executing the strategic plans and daily operations of the Behavioral Health Case Workers, always with an eye on improving processes and outcomes.
- Provide clear guidance and oversight to maintain the integrity and effectiveness of the care management programs.
- A Bachelor's Degree of Science in Nursing (BSN), and an unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in South Carolina, along with any other states in which you operate.
- At least three (3)+ years of Behavioral Health clinical practice experience, and at least two (2) years of Supervisory experience.
- Previous experience with Reporting to include State required reporting and NCQA.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) to manage data, prepare reports, and communicate effectively; experience with MS Access is a plus.
- Ability to utilize electronic medical record (EMR) and documentation programs.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with attention to detail; solid decision-making and problem solving skills a plus, as well as the ability to prioritize and organize.
- Experience working in community-based settings and/or home care.
