Lead Emergency Medical Operations

The Chief Medical Officer (CMO) plays a vital role in overseeing Emergency Medicine operations, providing strategic leadership and staffing for a small emergency room. Responsibilities include managing a team of experienced professionals and delivering exceptional patient care, with the option to work additional shifts for increased compensation.

**Compensation Package:**

  • Competitive annual salary of $360,000, including the CMO and ER Medical Director roles, plus a weekly 24-hour ER shift, resulting in a total income of $560,000 for two 24-hour shifts per week.
  • Sign-on bonus available for qualified candidates.
  • Relocation assistance is provided to support the transition to this new opportunity.

**Facility Details:

  • This non-trauma hospital features 6 ER beds and main surgery rooms.
  • A supportive staff of experienced emergency nurses and technicians.
  • A manageable workweek of 16 hours as CMO, plus one 24-hour ER shift, totaling 40 hours, with opportunities to increase income by adding a second ER shift.
  • Approximately 200 ER visits per month provide a high volume of cases for learning and growth.

**Qualifications and Skills:

  • New graduates and experienced physicians welcome.
  • Board certification or eligibility in Emergency Medicine required.
  • Candidates with Family Medicine experience and ER training are also considered.
