Job Description

We are a family-owned and operated brunch restaurant seeking a skilled Breakfast Chef to join our team. As a Breakfast Chef, you will be responsible for preparing all served food, working well in a fast-paced environment, and maintaining high standards of quality and cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare all served food to meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently.
  • Plan food production to coordinate with meal serving hours, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of dishes.
  • Memorize, record, and comprehend menu items, abbreviations, plate appearance, and portions to provide excellent customer service.
  • Follow standard recipes and special diet orders, adhering to all sanitation and food production codes.
  • Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in cooking, culinary arts, or related fields, with a strong understanding of kitchen equipment and cooking techniques.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work well in teams.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings and weekends, to meet the demands of our brunch service.
