Job Title: Electrophysiology Technician
">About the Role: We are seeking a skilled Electrophysiology Technician to join our team in Silver Spring, Maryland. This is a travel position, and you will have the opportunity to work with various clients and experience different healthcare environments.
Key Responsibilities:
">- To perform electrophysiology procedures, including electrocardiograms (ECGs), Holter monitors, and other tests as required.
- To prepare patients for procedures, explain the process, and ensure their comfort throughout the test.
- To maintain accurate records of patient data, including test results and any subsequent treatment plans.
- To collaborate with healthcare professionals, such as cardiologists and nurses, to provide comprehensive patient care.
Requirements:
- A current professional license as required by the state.
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
- A valid BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
- Specialty-related certifications are preferred and may be required for specific positions.
