About the Role

Michael Page is seeking a highly skilled Litigation Attorney - Insurance to join our team in Miami. As a Litigation Attorney - Insurance, you will have the opportunity to work with a leading law firm offering genuine work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities will include:
  • Taking depositions, attending court hearings and mediation
  • Drafting motions, pleadings, briefs, discovery requests and interrogatories, and other legal correspondence/ litigation documents
  • Varied matters including analyzing insurance policies, draft coverage opinions and provide coverage advice and recommendations to clients
  • Work with investigators and experts
  • Actively contribute to the development and maintenance of client relationships


The ideal candidate will be someone who thrives within a busy, stimulating and fast-paced team environment.

Requirements

The successful Litigation Attorney - Insurance, demonstrable experience will include:
  • Admitted to practice in Miami (or if relocating to Miami, must have other US bar)
  • 4+ years relevant Litigation Attorney experience
  • First-party insurance coverage experience (e.g. marine, fine art and specie, property, specialty, contingency, special events, cyber etc.) highly beneficial
  • Commercial litigation experience including the taking of depositions, conduct of oral arguments and discovery
  • Federal court experience
  • Strong writing, organizational and time management skills
  • Strong academic background essential

  • $175,000-$220,000 base salary (depending on experience)
