Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all phases of plaintiff personal injury litigation, from case inception to resolution, with excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and gather relevant case information for cases in NY and NJ.
  • Draft and prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests, with a high level of proficiency.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court team members to achieve successful case outcomes.
  • Manage case files and maintain organized documentation, ensuring timely and accurate case preparation.
  • Assist in trial preparation, including witness coordination and exhibit preparation, to ensure a strong case presentation.
  • Negotiate settlements with insurance companies on behalf of clients, utilizing strong negotiation skills.
  • Manage paralegals and collaborate with team members to achieve case goals.
  • Take depositions and original motion hearings, applying knowledge of the law and court procedures.
  • Prepare arbitration statements and trial information statements, ensuring accuracy and clarity.

Requirements:

  • Ability to listen clearly, manage multiple caseloads, and a team.
  • Proficiency in negotiating settlements with insurance carriers and resolving property damage claims.
  • Ability to trial cases and interact with clients.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent ability to manage multiple tasks and work well under tight deadlines and pressure.
  • Willingness to work in a challenging environment.
  • Must be willing to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must have a Juris Doctorate or equivalent.
  • Must be Licensed in New Jersey.
  • Possess a strong academic record of 3.0 and above (preferred).
  • 7+ years of proven experience as a Personal Injury Attorney.
  • Exhibit strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Bilingual in (English/Spanish) is a plus.
