Nursing Director Assistant Position in Lewiston, Idaho

The ideal candidate will assist the Director of Nursing (DON) in planning, organizing, developing, and directing the overall operation of the Nursing Services department. This includes ensuring the highest degree of quality patient care in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards.
Estimated Salary: $85,000 - $105,000 per year based on experience and qualifications.
Job Description:
The RN - Assistant Director of Nursing will be responsible for maintaining a liaison with patients, families, support departments, etc. to adequately plan for patient needs. They will also possess expert knowledge in the field of geriatric nursing, particularly in post-acute care. Additionally, they will make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action, and implement and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures of the department.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* ASN or BSN from accredited college or university
* Currently licensed/registered in applicable State. Must maintain an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing throughout employment.
* Two (2) years' geriatric nursing experience preferred, preferably in post-acute care
* CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation. CPR certification must remain current during employment.
* Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
* Excellent customer service and communication skills
