Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pharmacist to join our team at Walgreens. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of prescription dispensing, and promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert clinical guidance and support to patients, including medication therapy management and disease state management.
  • Ensure the accurate and timely dispensing of prescriptions, including verification and review of medication orders.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers and other stakeholders to promote patient-centered care and improve health outcomes.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest developments in pharmacy practice and healthcare.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of pharmacy policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
Requirements
  • Pharmacist licensure in the state(s) within the district.
  • BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited educational institution.
  • At least 1 year experience as a pharmacist in a retail setting, including prescription filling and verification, records and legal compliance, pharmacy operations, pharmacy software and technology systems, and insurance.
  • Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
