Maintenance Lead for Seasonal Facilities

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Lead to join our team at TransForce, responsible for overseeing seasonal maintenance operations at various facilities. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to lead and train junior staff while ensuring the upkeep of our sites.
About the Role- The ideal candidate will have experience in unskilled maintenance work, with strong leadership skills to manage teams effectively.
- A valid California Drivers License (CDL) is required, along with a background investigation clearance prior to appointment.
This position requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team, often outdoors and in varying weather conditions. As a Maintenance Lead, you will be responsible for maintaining and operating light vehicles, inspecting completed work for quality control, and providing instruction to lower-level employees on tool usage and safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities- Lead seasonal Maintenance Aides in performing unskilled maintenance tasks, including cleaning, repairs, and upkeep of facilities.
- Coordinate activities of housekeeping and conservation crews, ensuring efficient use of resources and effective task completion.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed, including hours worked, duties performed, and any issues encountered.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency, productivity, and overall site appearance.
- Train new hires on company policies, procedures, and equipment operation, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
- A minimum of [2] years of experience in unskilled maintenance or related field, preferably in a supervisory capacity.
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt to changing situations.
- A valid California CDL, with a good driving record and willingness to operate light vehicles.

As a Maintenance Lead with TransForce, you can expect a competitive salary range of $43,000-$55,000 annually, depending on experience.
