About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Luxury Sales Manager to join our team in the New York Metro market.

The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and delivering TWE's annual Luxury goals in the designated market, working closely with internal teams and distributor partners.

The Key Performance Indicators for this role include sales volume, sales value, new distribution, and achievement of annual operating plans.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Monitor and evaluate distributor performance against TWE Luxury market goals.
  2. Grow Treasury Wine Estates Luxury portfolio depletion volume, feature, and distribution within top accounts and total territory in accordance with company fiscal objectives.
  3. Assist with development of distributor pricing and program strategies that deliver the market goals.
  4. Formulate market plans by channel and account, allocating resources to key retailers in the market.
  5. Ensure TWE team and distributor partners are managing compliance of National On & Off Premise account programs.
  6. Work closely with distributor salespeople and management to execute programs efficiently and effectively.
  7. Lead education with distributor sales personnel on the TWE Brand Portfolio and the brand standards we expect.
  8. Use market data to identify market opportunities, share this with the Distributor Sales Team.
  9. Assist and participate in monthly business reviews with the Distributor Management team.
  10. Develop win-win-win solutions that result in value creation for retailers, TWE, and the TWE distributor partner.
  11. Show fiscal responsibility at all times, staying within pre-agreed annual market budgets.
  12. Put controls in place to manage local market dollars, be transparent with budgeted spend.
  13. Monitor competitor activities in the market, communicate information on competitive strategy and tactics to direct supervisor and key wholesaler personnel.
About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional with a bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a related field.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of previous professional outside sales experience, three-tier management experience, and wine/alcohol beverage experience.

Strong verbal and written communication skills, persuasive presentation skills, and negotiation and mediation skills are essential for this role.

A proven track record of building and maintaining key trade account relationships to drive TWE strategy in the market is also required.

The ability to manage tasks, exercise independent judgment, and work in a fast-paced environment is essential.

A passion for wine and the ability to continuously learn new wines and brands is also required.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), desktop publishing programs, and an aptitude for technology are also essential.

High integrity and a commitment to a strong work ethic are also required.

Significant travel within assigned territory is required, and a valid driver's license is necessary.

The ability to lift a case of wine (45 pounds) up to 10 times per day is also required.

The base pay range offered for this position is $98,000 to $133,000 per year and a target bonus and other benefits.

These figures represent what we reasonably expect to pay for this position, but the actual compensation offered will depend upon numerous job-related factors, including but not limited to candidate qualifications, skills, experience, education, location, and alignment with market data.

Our expectation is that the incumbent will work in our target market listed above. If the incumbent works out of another location, the wage rate may fall above or below this range. Treasury reserves the right to modify the range in the future.
