Job Description

As a Retail Sales Associate at Heritage Cooperative, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, operating cash registers, and managing store inventory. You will also be expected to maintain a clean and organized store environment, assist with visual merchandising, and participate in physical inventory counts.

  • Provide superior customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Operate cash registers accurately and efficiently, handling customer payments and processing transactions.
  • Manage store inventory by receiving shipments, stocking shelves, and rotating stock to ensure freshness and availability.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment by sweeping, mopping, and cleaning as needed.
  • Assist with visual merchandising by creating eye-catching displays and arranging product fixtures.
  • Participate in physical inventory counts to ensure accurate inventory levels.

Required Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • The ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
  • A valid driver's license, with an acceptable driving record.
Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience in a retail or agricultural setting is preferred, but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate and provide opportunities for advancement within the company.
