Job SummaryWe are seeking a full-time Physical Therapist Assistant to join our homecare team at Optage Homecare. In this role, you will assist with implementing and providing high-quality physical therapy care and services to residents consistent with regulations and established rehabilitation policies and best practices.
Responsibilities- Provide patient/resident and family education/consultation related to disorders and their management.
- Communicate resident status and needs to patients, families, staff, and other professionals.
- Provide direct care to residents under the direction of a Physical Therapist.
- Maintain all required documentation in accordance with regulations and established rehabilitation procedures.
- Assist with daily operations of the rehab department as directed by Physical Therapists and/or Director of Rehabilitation Services.
- Graduate from an accredited program for physical therapy assistants.
- Current licensure in the state of practice.
- Competence in physical therapy treatment and documentation according to the Standards of Practice.
- Demonstrated compatibility with PHS's mission and operating philosophies.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English to communicate effectively with customers.
