About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Patient Service Associate to join our team at Dawson Hall Dermatology in Chapel Hill, NC.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate daily clinic preparation process, including patient identification, check-in/out, charge posting, cash management, and appointment scheduling.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring patients have a positive experience throughout their visit.
  • Manage messages, schedule ancillary procedures, and coordinate referrals efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate records, adhering to regulatory and compliance policies, and Duke's values of excellence and compassion.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; one year of experience in patient communication and healthcare services preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize tasks, interact tactfully with patients, and establish effective relationships with colleagues.
  • Basic PC and data entry skills, knowledge of medical terminology, and strong verbal and written communication.
Salary Range:

$40,000 - $55,000 per annum, depending on experience.
