Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Systems Integration & Test Engineer to join our Engineering team in Aurora, Colorado. As a key member of our Systems Integration and Test (SI&T) team, you will be responsible for leading a team of engineers in delivering bi-weekly mission software releases from the development environment to the operational environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and support a team of engineers responsible for software deliveries to the operational system
  • Provide regular updates to program leaders and customer representatives
  • Support weekly SETA and team lead technical tag-ups
  • Support Change Management Board meetings as needed
  • Provide technical SME support as a factory-based Systems Integration & Test Engineer
  • Work in a classified lab on site
  • Work in an Agile program environment
Requirements
  • Typically requires a Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant systems integration and test experience or 6 years of relevant experience with a Master's degree in (STEM)
  • Experience working on-site in a badgeless environment with multiple stakeholders
  • Experience troubleshooting and resolving software system execution problems
  • Experience with systems engineering principles and activities
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued Top Secret/SCI security clearance is required prior to start date
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in a Satellite Ground System development or operations environment
  • Experience with ground station and satellite domains (such as terrestrial data networking, command and telemetry, launch operations, flight dynamics, mission planning, on-orbit operations)
  • Familiarity with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket)
  • Test Automation experience (Cucumber, Gherkin, home-grown)
  • Experience with Java, C++, or Python
  • Experience with Linux operating system
