We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to fill the position of Hospice Director Clinical Services. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and leading our Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) in delivering compassionate and personalized services.

Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity for a registered nurse with leadership experience to join our Compassus team. As a Hospice Director Clinical Services, you will be responsible for supervising patient care, managing the IDT, and ensuring adherence to state and federal regulations. Your strong leadership and interpersonal skills will enable you to motivate and guide your team members to provide exceptional care to our patients.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of experience in healthcare, preferably in a nursing facility, home health, or hospice setting. A bachelor's degree is strongly preferred, and experience with Electronic Medical Record systems is a significant advantage. Certification in Hospice and Palliative Nursing is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise patient care as specified by the plan of care, assessing appropriateness, continuity, service, and quality of care.
  • Support and manage the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT), including scheduling, productivity, mentoring, and monitoring.
  • Oversee the consultative process between the Medical Director and the members of the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT).
  • Ensure adherence to the rules and regulations of state and federal regulatory agencies.
  • Attend and lead Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) meetings.
  • Process EMR documentation workflow as needed.
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse with a minimum of three years of experience in healthcare.
  • Bachelor's degree strongly preferred.
  • Experience in leadership or management strongly preferred.
  • Experience with Electronic Medical Record systems is a strong plus.
