Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Control Systems Engineer to join our team at Albireo Energy. As a key member of our technical services team, you will be responsible for installing, commissioning, and maintaining complex control systems.

About the Role

This is a challenging opportunity for a motivated individual with a passion for technical problem-solving. You will work closely with customers to identify and resolve issues related to electronic controls and HVAC equipment. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring optimal system performance and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, commission, and maintain complex control systems, including point-to-point checkout and verification.
  • Perform preventative and predictive maintenance service activities to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair or replace control components and controls systems.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot networking and integration of complex control systems.
  • Write, create, load, test, and commission programming software and graphics utilizing various programming languages and software.
  • Communicate with customers upon arrival and before leaving the work site.
  • Train customers in control systems operations.
  • Complete and submit job documentation.
  • Assist sales by providing technical recommendations and proposals for retrofits, upgrades, and enhancements to existing equipment.
  • Conduct extensive self-study to improve and maintain technical proficiency in company's product lines.
Requirements
  • Extensive knowledge of electronic or digital controls systems.
  • Vocational School four-year program graduate or an Associate's degree in electronics, mechanical systems, computer technology, air conditioning, or similar field.
  • Five to seven years of increasingly responsible experience in servicing electronic controls and HVAC equipment.
  • Valid Driver's license with a clean record.
Estimated Salary Range

$60,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience.
